Safarilink operates twice daily scheduled flights to Samburu, Nanyuki and Lewa Downs in Laikipia. The arid, sprawling landscapes of Kenya's northern areas with their semi-deserts and magnificent rock outcrops are a different, but still attractive, world from the fertile grasslands of the Masai Mara. However Samburu on the southern edge of this area is also blessed by the presence of the Ewaso Nyiro River whose cool waters and shady riverine forests create a natural haven for wildlife such as large herds of elephants as well as locally endemic species such as the gerenuk, reticulated giraffe and Grevy's zebra who are now an endangered species. Lion and cheetah both hunt in this area but it is best known for it's sightings of the rare and elusive leopard.

The Samburu Reserve is contiguous with Buffalo Springs and Shaba National Reserves‚ and this entire area is the homeland of the Samburu people a fiercely proud nomadic tribe who graze and water their herds of cattle‚ goats and camels along the river.

Safarilink operates year round twice daily flights into Samburu and also daily flights from Samburu to the Masai Mara.
